Students experience three summers of rigorous STEM instruction designed to prepare students for higher education. Hands-on projects, challenging homework, field trips, and daily career awareness lectures keep students engaged as they progress. Students who enroll in the program have been proven to raise their test scores and are more prepared to pursue advanced high school courses.
In 2022, The San Juan Clean Energy Foundation granted funds for the AIS PREP program to purchase two buses to transport students, backpacks for each student, and snacks for the summer program.
